Need for the Course
Early childhood care and education (ECCEd) is a course for teachers and mothers who wish to educate children of the age group 0 - 6 years. This is the ideal age for the development of many skills as well as abilities. Experiences of early years have a profound impact on a child’s life. Therefore, to foster their learning and development, it is important that we have trained ECCEd teachers. This will help them to provide children with enriching experiences.
At VES, we are at par with the recent trends as well as developments in the field of teacher training. In the process of training teachers, we also achieve our goal which is to empower women by making them knowledgeable and economically independent.

About the Course
The ECCEd Course in Mumbai equips one with the knowledge and skills required to enhance learning as well as development of children.
Our course structure comprises both theoretical as well as practical knowledge for our trainees. Theoretical aspect consists of topics like understanding child development and psychology, theory and practice in Early Childhood Care and Education and child health and nutrition.
The practical aspect of our ECCEd Course in Mumbai includes one - month Internship in our pre - school and workshops related to curriculum planning, rhymes, phonics, etc. It also gives you various project related exposure for creative and craft activities conducted for children and preparation of teaching aids such as story chart, puppets and flash cards.
